[Review] Thai Vietjet / VZ567 : Taipei – Bangkok

After my 4 days trip in Taiwan with the new experience, it was the time to fly back to my home, Bangkok – Thailand. For the return trip, I chose the one of the most popular low-cost carrier of Thailand, Thai Vietjet as the flight schedule and airfare were convenient and reasonable. The flight was scheduled to depart from Taipei Taoyuan Airport at afternoon and arrive Bangkok – Suvarnabhumi at the evening. It meant I had free time in the morning in Taipei for shopping and enjoy the vibrance of Taipei before heading to the airport to catch the flight.

Herewith the flight details of this trip.

Route : Taipei_Taoyuan (TPE) – Bangkok_Suvarnabhumi (BKK)
Carrier : Thai Vietjet
Flight No. : VZ567
ETD : 3.25 PM (GMT+8)
ETA : 6.20 PM (GMT+7)
Duration : 3 hours and 55 minutes
Aircraft : Airbus A321
Cabin Class : ECONOMY

*Actually, for Flight No. VZ567, it was operating as Bangkok (BKK) – Taipei (TPE) – Osaka (KIX) for outbound and Osaka (KIX) – Taipei (TPE) – Bangkok (BKK) for inbound.

.

This trip was started when I arrived Taipei Taoyaun Airport – Terminal 1 at 12.30PM, 3 hours before departure time. Check-in counters for Thai Vietjet at this airport were at Row-1. Internet and Online Check-in were not available, all passengers had to check-in at the counter only. I spent almost 20 minutes to complete the check-in process and obtain the boarding pass.

.

.

.

.

Then, I eagerly to pass the immigration and security checkpoint. Fortunately, Thai Passport could use automatic immigration gate, it made my process a little bit faster. 😎 Today, I would board the flight at Gate No. : A4. After passing every process, I had about 2 hours to grab something for lunch. The concourse A at Taipei Taoyaun Airport – Terminal 1 had only few food and coffee stores. So, I ended up with a cup of Latte and a stuffed bun from food stall. 🥲

.

.

.

.

.

I just strolled to see the duty free shops during waiting for the flight time. About 3PM, I headed to the gate. The passengers were waiting for the flight already and our aircraft was just arrived from Osaka (KIX).

.

.

.

.

.

.

At 3.15PM, the boarding was announced and started.

.

.

The seat had arranged as 3-3 as general pattern of single aisle Turbojet. It had only one class, Economy. The seat pitch was quite narrow as low-cost carrier style (about 28-29 inches). It had safety instruction sheet, magazine and in-flight menu in the front seat pocket.

.

.

.

As soon as the boarding completed, the flight was pushed back and taken-off. It was a little bit late from the plan (about 10 minutes).

Goodbye…..Taipei 😁

.

Once the flight was at cruising speed. The cabin crews started to sell and serve the food and souvenir. But I had fallen asleep almost throughout the flight. 🥱😪

Once I woke-up, the sun was going to set. 🌇

.

Then, not for long, the flight was descending and landing at Bangkok – Suvarnabhumi Airport safely. it was delayed from schedule about 20 minutes. We disembarked the aircraft by the bus gate and we were transferred to the passenger terminal by the bus. It was what I generally see for low-cost carriers.

.

.

.

Then, after I passed the immigration checkpoint, I could se that the passenger can re-claim the checked-in baggage at the Belt No. 6.

.

.

Due to this flight was arrived Bangkok – Suvarnbhumi Airport in the late evening time, it was so easy to get in the city by public transportation. I selected Airport Rail Link as I was the most comfortable for me.

For this flight, I would recommend you as one of your choice to travel between Thailand and Taiwan as the cost effective and punctuality. Even the seat pitch was quite narrow, but I was acceptable for just 3-4 hours flight. I hope all of you have a pleasant flight and a wonderful stay in Thailand. 🇹🇭
