In autumn 2025, It was the time for my trip to Eastern Europe what I planned almost one year ahead. This trip, I planned to arrived in Warsaw and leave from Vienna. As I did the research, Qatar Airways had the most convenient flights for my trip as the flight time and layover duration at Doha airport gave me the most efficient time and budget. I had no hesitation to grab the ticket and setup my trip.

After I acquired Schengen visa and packed my stuff, it was the time to start my new life chapter. The outbound flight to Warsaw has details as below.

My trip had begun when I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport – Bangkok (BKK) at 11PM, about 3 hours before my flight.

Check-in counters for Qatar Airways at Suvarnabhumi Airport are at Row-Q. It was quick and efficient as I did internet check-in prior my arrival. I spent only 10 minutes to complete the check-in and drop the baggage.

After I passed the security checkpoint and immigration, I had about 2 hours before boarding. I had relaxed in Kpoint KLUB lounge. About 15 minutes before boarding, I used the shuttle train to Satellite terminal. Today, we would board the aircraft at Gate No. S114A.

Upon I arrived the gate, the aircraft was there to wait to passenger already. About 1.45AM, the boarding was begun by the zone number on the boarding pass. Despite it is the A380 aircraft, but the boarding was quite quick as the airbridge has support this type of aircraft, it had plenty of doors.

The economy seats had been arranged as 3-4-3. The legroom was large and super comfortable to medium-long haul flight. It had blanket, pillow and amenity kit (earphones, earplugs, eye mask, socks and toothbrush set) for all passengers. Furthermore, it has PTV at all seats with plenty choices of entertainment.

Upon boarding completed, the flight was taken-off on-time. ✈️ When the aircraft was in cruising altitude and seatbelt sign was switched off, I started to survey the lavatory. It was well clean and equipped with handwashing gel and cologne. 😃

Then, the light meal had been served as the first service. It had 2 choices, chicken puff or veggie puff. I chose the chicken one to enjoy with orange juice.

After I was full, it was the time for resting. I thought I napped for 3 hours. Then, about 2 hours before landing at Doha International airport, breakfast had been served. I selected omelet with chicken sausage and orange juice.

Then, the flight was gently landed at Doha without delay.

Upon I disembarked from the aircraft, I followed the sign of connecting flight as well as looked for the departure flight information screen to see the gate. Also, I spent 3 hours layover to stretch myself from long flight from Bangkok as well as refresh for the next flight. Today, the flight to Warsaw was boarding at Gate No. C16. I arrived at the gate about 8.15AM.

At 8.45AM, the boarding had been announced. The ground staff had checked the boarding pass and visa again at the boarding gate.

The economy seats were arranged as 2-4-2. The seat pitch was well large, comfortable for me like the first flight. It had pillow, blanket, earphone and PTV for all seats. But amenity kit was not provided as it is the day-flight.

As soon as the boarding completed, the flight was pushed back and taken-off on-time.

Then, when the flight was at en route altitude, as the same, I started to observed the lavatory. It is Qatar Airways’ standard. It was clean and fully equipped as 5-stars airlines have.

An hour after take-off, the cabin crews had started to serve the lunch. It had 3 choices for economy class, I selected rice with chicken and chose apple juice to sip after meal. 🍛

I took a nap for few hours. 30 minutes before landing, the seatbelt signed was turned on. then, The flight was landed at Warsaw International Airport safely.

After I get off from the aircraft, I passed the immigration and reclaimed my checked in luggage at the belt number 8.

Once I completely arrived in Poland (and Schengen area 😆), it was about 1.45PM. I would get in the city center by S2 Train which is directly connect Warsaw Airport to Warsaw Central station. Just follow the sign direction to “Train”. And, I planned to stay in Warsaw for 3 days. I decided to bought the 72-hours tickets at the ticket vending machine for 36 PLN (about 10 USD). This ticket can be used for all trains, buses, trams and subways in Warsaw – Zone 1 for 72 hours after the first validation. BUT, the passenger must validate the ticket at the validation machine on the train, bus, tram or subway at first riding (only once)…….MUST NOT FORGET TO VALIDATE.

I arrived at Warsaw Central Station about 2.20PM and walk to the hotel nearby there to check-in and spend the rest of the first day to explore few place for warm-up before the next full day.

In overall, Qatar Airways has offered the 5-star full service for economy class as its advertised. Everything was in world class standard. I would recommend Qatar Airways for the route between Bangkok and Warsaw (layover at Doha) as the first choice if you are looking for full and impressive service. Have a lovely days in Warsaw. 🇵🇱😍
